MLV's History
There is no other company in the low vision industry that is founded on the practical knowledge and experience of Mattingly Low Vision. Now led by Bill's son, Sean, Mattingly Low Vision, Inc continues as a family owned and operated, wholesale only company. Founded by Bill in 2007, MLV grew to include Sean in 2011 and his wife Julie Mattingly in 2013. Prior to joining MLV, Sean worked in real estate and operations at the Regional and Director level for several years. Sean received an MBA from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from California State University San Marcos. Julie graduated from UCSD with a BA in Human Development and holds a Master of Education from UCLA.
Our team also includes Elena King, a CLVT who worked with Bill for over 20 years. Elena is available to provide advice and consultation to our customers at no charge.
Mattingly Low Vision, Inc. does not compete with our customers for retail business as many of our competitors do. We are wholesale only!
