OTHER SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS

Founder and Director, San Diego Blind Ski Team, 1976-1983. This program has served over 75 visually impaired persons, and has had participation from over 75 sighted volunteers. It has been covered by major newspapers and television stations, including PM Magazine, whose reporter won an Emmy Award for the story. The program has been sponsored by the San Diego Service Center for the Blind and the San Diego Blind Recreation Center.
